More than 200 area youngsters turned up at the AC Field in Archbald for the Eynon-Archbald Lions Club’s annual Easter egg hunt. All children were given a bag of treats donated by the Archbald Borough officials, PEI Power, Tom Kulkosky and Gertrude Hawk Chocolate. A total of 136 children went home with a gift basket and six children were lucky winners of bicycles donated by the club. The Easter Bunny arrived on an Eynon Hose Co. fire truck and was available for photos. An Easter bonnet contest was also held, and the participants received chocolate rabbits donated by Fidelity Bank.

The winners of the bikes were Greg Alleva, Kayleigh Rieman, Kelsey O’Shea and Matthew Maida, all of Archbald, and Rowan Chapman of Clarks Summit and Caleb Ramsey of Dickson City. The winner of the Easter bonnet contest was Madison Miller of Peckville.
