Benefit Dinner

The Eynon Christmas Lights Committee will sponsor a fundraising pasta dinner Sunday, May 5, noon to 5 p.m., at the Wozniak-Pavloski Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 7963, 272 Main St., Eynon. Eat in or take out. The menu includes penne pasta, homemade sauce, homemade meatballs, salad, dinner roll and dessert. There will also be a basket raffle and a 50/50. There will be a pasta eating contest with local comedian Paul Dudrich serving as emcee. Proceeds will help pay for new Christmas lights in Eynon on Main, Kennedy and Betty Streets. Tickets are $8, and can be purchased by calling 876-1758, or any committee member. Anyone wanting to donate a basket should call 876-5428. Anyone wanting to donate baked goods should call 876-1121. Monetery donations are still being accepted: make checks payable to the Eynon Christmas Light Fund and mail it to Jean Yeselavage, 645 Thomas St. or Judy Rudalavage, 608 Main St., Eynon.
