The Anthracite Historical Discovery Center, under development in Carbondale, recently held its “Spring Fever Run Motorcycle Rally,” which began at Damon’s in Clarks Summit and ended with a barbeque lunch and celebration at the Carbondale Train Station. The rally was the benefit of the AHDC promoting the history and heritage of our area. Visit www.theAHDC.com for more information.
The AHDC rally committee includes, on the cycle: Dave Bender and his daughter, Taylor. Second row: Carol Vaverchak, Margaret Calzola, Darlene Ferraro-Ploch, Noreene Carney, Joan Scavo and Judi Mozeleski. Third row: Gail Rees, Annette Fox, Barbara Hughes and Gretchen Nepa. Mary Mararra is also on the committee.
