Valley View High School's health and physical education (HPE) club celebrated one of nature's fast foods, apples, by hosting an "apple crunch" event, which teaches kids to make the apple, and other fruits and vegetables, a regular part of a nutritious diet, with an emphasis on snacking. Quinn's market in Peckville donated the apple slices for this year's event. Apples were available for all high school students during the lunches.
