The Marywood University Speech and Hearing Club is an affiliation of the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NSSHLA), a professional membership association for students enrolled in a communication sciences program or related majors. Over the past two years, club members raised funds via Cold Stone Creamery and Ruby Tuesdays nights. Funds collected have been used to purchase $450 worth of items from the Ronald McDonald House wish list. such as kitchen, laundry and guest helpers (e.g., Clorox wipes, paper towels, dish detergent, laundry detergent, shampoo, toothpaste) as well as DVDs and toys for children staying with family at the Ronald McDonald House or using the Ronald McDonald House family rooms.
