Health Care Heroes

Thirty 10th grade students from Christina Murakami's English class, as well as some members of the Medical Careers Club of the Carbondale Area High School, participated in a "Celebrating Your Health Care Hero" essay contest and were recognized with a certificate and movie passes.

The primary goal of the event was to promote career opportunities in health care. Janet Rusnak is the advisor for the Medical Careers Club.
