Mid-Valley Hospital and its medical staff have awarded three area students with the Dr. Neil Soifer and Greard H. Warner Jr. scholarship award.
The award winner from Lakeland High School is Ryan Kiehart of Mayfield. He is the son of Rodger and Christine Kiehart. He will attend Ursinus College and major in pre-med.
The award winner from Mid Valley High School is Holly Drutarovsky of Dickson City. She is the daughter of Andrew and Donna Drutarovsky. She will attend Temple University majoring in biology and pre-med.
The award winner from Valley View High School is Courtney Gerek of Peckville. She is the daughter of Margaret and Edward Gerek. She will attend Duquesne University with the goal of becoming a physician assistant.
