PJAS Winners

Twenty-one Carbondale Area High School students received awards at the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science (PJAS) regional meeting at King’s College. Rosanna Misura, Emily Scotchlas, Michael Farrell, Tony Tolerico, Joey Falbo, Morgan Walsh, Hayley Skorupa, Eliza Totsky, John Scirone, Mackenzie Mauro, Sarah Totsky, Anna Totsky, Sydney Toy, Christina Carachilo, Chelsea Jones, Emily Wallis, Katelyn Dovin, Amelia Zazzera and Olivia Regal Received first-place awards. Hannah Tolerico and Maura Nevins received second-place awards.

Michael Farrell, Chelsea Jones, Katelyn Dovin and Sarah Totsky, all had perfect scores. Michael Farrell also won the Excellency Award for his behavioral psychology project, and won the Fellowship Award and $150. First-place winners presented their projects at the state meeting in May at Penn State University.
