The National Parent-Teacher Association’s “Reflections” program encourages students to explore and be involved in the arts. The theme for the 2013-2014 school year was “Dream, Believe and Inspire.” Thousands of students reflected on the theme and created original works of art in the categories of dance choreography, film production, music composition, literature, photography and visual arts.
Carbondale Area High School seventh-grade student Andi Fedorchak’s artwork in the visual arts category received first place in this year’s state competition.
