The Dangers of Smoking

In honor of “Kick Butts Day,” members of Lakeland Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) visited fifth- and sixth-grade students in Mayfield and Lakeland Elementary Schools. Students studied the harmful ingredients found in cigarettes, discussed the negative consequences of tobacco and viewed a healthy and unhealthy pig lung borrowed from the American Cancer Society.
