Olyphant church helps feed the community

The Rescue & Restore Church hosted a food distribution on Oct. 3. The church at 120 Willow Ave., Olyphant, hosts food distributions on the first Monday of every month, with upcoming distribution scheduled for noon on Nov. 7 and Dec. 5. They also host a free community meal in the basement of the church starting at 5:30 p.m. on the last Thursday of every month. Church members and volunteers in the first row from left, are Helen Herne, Janet Sherman and Ray Herne. Second row from left, the Rev. Jack Munley, Nancy Olivie and Miguel Maldonado.
